Chile rescue

All 33 miners, who were trapped over 600 metres down the collapsed mine have now safely been brought up to the surface after spending more than two months underground.  One of the rescued miners is the father of a service technician whom works with Atlas Copco Chile.  Atlas Copco Congratulates the miners, their families and the staff involved in the operation.

Atlas Copco is also proud to have contributed equipment - two compressors from the local Atlas Copco Rental fleet in Chile were used in the operation - and technical support to the rescue operation.
