Offshore Europe 2011

Record attendance levels at SPE Offshore Europe in Aberdeen have set a new benchmark at the largest exhibition and conference in the event’s history.  The number of attendees at the three-day show rose by 4.2% to an all-time record of 32,025 unique attendees, compared to 30,698 two years ago. This record was achieved despite the last event being held for an extra day. The total cumulative attendance was 48,575, slightly higher than in 2009.
This is the second largest international show on the Oil & Gas calendar.
This year a decision was taken to exhibit on a consolidated Atlas Copco Group level with seperate business areas represented in product and personnel.

Featuring prominently on the stand was our new model XATS1020 Zone II containerised compressor for hazardous area use.

For nearly 30 years this premier event has consistently shown to bring value to our business, the significance here is that the visitors include many of our established key oil and gas accounts, whilst also bringing new enquirers and highlighting to the market our innovative products and services".
  
This year we promoted the successful introduction of our XATS1020 Zone II packaged compressor.
