Atlas Copco climbs in patents ranking

The ranking is compiled by The Patent Board, an independent patent analytics and research company. Measuring the number of U.S. patents granted in a given year, The Patent Board also evaluates indicators such as the scientific strength of the patents, and the age of the inventions on which the portfolio is based.

“Ever since Atlas Copco adopted a common patent policy in 2006, we have had a strong common focus on driving innovation and protecting related intellectual property rights,” says Hans Sandberg, Senior Vice President General Counsel for Atlas Copco AB and member of the Group’s Patent Council. “We are very pleased to see that this work is yielding results.”
