What has been your career path in Atlas Copco?
I joined Atlas Copco as part of the Ingersoll Rand acquisition in 2004, so I guess Atlas Copco chose me rather than the other way around. I started here as Inventory Specialist supporting the Atlas Copco Drilling Solutions business line. I was promoted to Logistics Manager in 2006.

Atlas Copco is a reputable brand name, with a good culture, reliability and stability. It is also a great EO employer so anybody who has the skills and talents for a position has the opportunity to apply and express an interest.
 
What opportunities do you see at Atlas Copco?
There is the opportunity for advancement and promotion. And because Atlas Copco is a global company there are many opportunities for people with specialized skill sets to take on positions and projects in other countries. Atlas Copco also fosters good networking relationships and exchange of ideas with local and overseas colleagues.
 
What are the challenges of your role?
I am constantly learning and evolving as our business dynamics change through acquisitions, expansions and new processes. Working in a customer centre, I am much closer to the customer which can be demanding and has greater accountability, but it also means more varied tasks and personal satisfaction as well.
 
I continue to learn and develop with a great team of people and mentoring from my manager. Although Atlas Copco chose me in 2004, I’m glad I made the choice.
