MT Focus 400 screwdriver system - high quality assembly in your hands!
When designing the new MT Focus 400 screwdriver system, comprising an MT Focus 400 controller partnered with a screwdriver from the MT Digitork range, Atlas Copco’s first priority was user friendliness. Suitable for virtually any tightening application in the electronics industry, the system brings quality to the low-torque assembly process.
Simple programming, clear feedback
Programming is performed on the front of the controller, using the Auto-set function to set the correct torque and speed for the specific joint. Batch size can also be programmed directly on the front.
The system provides clear operator feedback, with an intuitive display and buzzer providing visual and audio signals indicating tightening status. Torque and angle control ensure that common assembly problems are detected and eliminated. This means less human influence on the tightening result and makes the tightening more of a science than an art.
A versatile system offering fast payback
The MT Focus 400 controller is used with state-of-the-art MT Digitork tools, both fixtured and handheld, resulting in a system that can be used on a wide range of applications. In the electronics industry these include smart phones, hard drives, infotainment systems, industrial and medical electronics.
In addition to increasing productivity and end-product quality, the system offers cost savings and fast payback by reducing reworking and scrapping rates to a minimum.
