The high flow MAXI-B air preparation unit's main application is to prepare the air for tools with high flow demands, such as Atlas Copco Turbo grinders and large vertical and angle grinders, also when long distribution hoses are used. The MAXI-B has a die-cast zinc housing and aluminum bowls with polypropylene inserts. The bowl is directly screwed to the housing for easy handling. All separate units, mounting brackets, assembly kits and pressure gauges need to be ordered separately. The MAXI F/RD and FRD unit are delivered complete with mounting bracket, assembly kit and pressure gauge. Atlas Copco oil lubricators ensure a long, efficient and trouble-free life for your
pneumatic tools and components. The use of a lubricator will increase the power in vane motors by about 10-15% and prolong the lifetime of a vane motor up to three times. The motor will work much more efficiently, and with less friction

Energy Efficiency Audit

A huge amount of energy is wasted due to leaks in compressed air systems. Capacity losses of up to 20% are common in many installations. During an Energy Efficiency Audit Atlas Copco checks the static and dynamic pressure for your air tools on the line. The pressure drop is measured and documented and a visual inspection of the air installation is performed. Based on the information acquired, using the Energy Efficiency Calculator, Atlas Copco recommends the correct installation in terms of air line accessories and various other aspects.
