Space is the most valuable and limited resource when it comes to offshore operations. During initial discussions of the requirement, we get the specifications of space and proposed placement of equipment at the rig/vessel from customer, and then identify the best possible solution. We are also extremely proud of our equipment’s reliability. Once it is shipped, there is little scope of any change – which is why we test our equipment rigorously at our depot, the customer is also invited to check the equipment while the test is going on, offering assurance that the equipment is in a perfectly working condition.

Do the equipment meet offshore compliances considering the strict requirements for operation in oil & gas industry?
At Atlas Copco, we take compliances very seriously. From the beginning, we always prefer to work closely with all the required authorities to ascertain and collect all the required permissions to ship out our equipment. We ensure all the necessary offshore compliance protocols are met, including, but not limited to green tagging of our equipment, as per site requirement.
All our equipment is checked by third-party inspections and audits to certify our fleet for the health and reliability of the machines. It is only after the checks and approvals do we send our rig-safe equipment to our customers. We also have DNV certified crash frames available separately for our standard fleet to convert into RIG-safe along with additional safety interlocks, in case it is required.
How is the equipment operation handled for demanding projects? Does Atlas Copco Specialty Rental provide any relevant training to the equipment operators?
Off-shore operations are hazardous and require several compliance and safety protocols to be followed. Atlas Copco Specialty Rental ensures all safety compliance protocols are considered.
Our well-trained personnel are experienced at handling contingencies as well as regular operations ranging from fire to safety and evacuation. We have BOSIET and OPITO – certified operators and we continuously invest giving them all the latest training and knowledge.

We have a diverse and versatile fleet for compressed air, power, and onsite nitrogen generation, compliant in every aspect for a varied number of requirements. This makes us a preferred partner of choice for our large customer base in oil and gas industry. We are also backed with a huge fleet placed strategically at our 24x7 operational depots – in the east and west of India, that offers (oil-) spillage free and rig-safe equipment which are further customizable. The equipment is housed in a DNV certified crash frame and can be certified for green tagging, if required. We also take care of the marine life in and around the area we work during such projects and have provided equipment for currently niche underwater applications such as bubble-curtain and high pressure compressed air for deep sea projects.
