Mining operations typically have high equipment utilization, drilling 60%, or even up to 80%, of the working day. Companies drilling find that performance and service life are critical factors. Premium equipment reduces labor costs and lowers wear and tear on expensive drills.
Drilling for oil and gas is both technically demanding and commercially challenging. Equipment must simply perform at the highest level for a company to reach its greatest return.
