History: Wagner Mining Scoop Co. was founded in 1958 by Eddie Wagner, his wife, Mary and son, Richard, to develop loaders for the underground mining market. The three worked originally for Wagner Tractor, a manufacturer of construction equipment. In 1970, the company name was changed to Wagner Mining Equipment Inc. and in 1995 it was changed to Atlas Copco Wagner Inc.
