ATLAS COPCO LAUNCHES HIGH-CAPACITY SINGLE-AXLE COMPRESSORS
New Atlas Copco XAHS236 and XAMS286 portable compressors deliver 14.1 and 17 m3/h at 12 and 8.6 bar respectively for wide range of applications.
The XAHS236 and XAMS286 have the highest capacity of any single-axle model in the Atlas Copco range. This, combined with compact dimensions and easy manoeuvrability, makes them ideal for sand blasting, optical fibre drilling, small hole drilling and general rental applications. Both units are also the first models in the range to feature digital display panels alongside conventional analogue gauges.
The single-stage oil-injected rotary screw compressos are driven by the proven 4-cylinder Mercedes-Benz diesel engine, rated 124 kW at 1900r/min. Complying with all existing emission standards, they operate at sound pressure levels of just 101dB(A).
Separate engine and compressor filters prevent contamination of the inlet air, while large doors ensure the filters are easy to reach for service operations.
Options include an aftercooler pack, re-heater, fine filters, cold weather pack and road signalisation. Customers can also have the zinc-coated panels of their compressor finished in custom colours.
