Atlas Copco Chilena was founded in 1954. Since then the company has participated in several large urban projects, which has contributed to the country’s modernization and development.

One example is the construction of the Lo Prado Tunnel. Mining has during the years also been an important area for Atlas Copco. Chile is today one of the world’s leading producer of copper, with the world’s largest copper mine.
