One of the driving forces behind the creation of AB Atlas
The purpose was manufacturing or buying and selling materials for the construction and operations of railways.
Fränckel, mechanical director of the Swedish State Railways, became the first Managing Director of AB Atlas, a position he held between 1873 and 1887.
