Coal Bed Methane
CBM is a non-conventional hydrocarbon, a natural gas containing virtually 100% methane (CH4) produced form coal seam reservoirs.
It is often produced at shallow depths with large volumes of water of variable quality and through a borehole that allows gas and water to be produced to the surface. Many coal mining areas support current CBM productions.
Compressed air from the Hurricane boosters is used for drilling, cleaning the well, pneumatic fracturing and other operations.
