The most common services on oil and gas pipelines are pressure testing, de-watering, purging, cleaning, drying and corrosion inspections.
Pipeline pigs are inserted into and travel throughout the length of a pipeline. Depending on the pipeline length and diameter, high volumes of compressed air are needed for the successful completion of the job.
