The quest to achieve zero-fault fastening has motivated many plants to invest heavily in error-proofing solutions to increase quality and productivitym and reduce costs on their assembly lines. All installations require network connections between the production system, or data collection to the controllers. The high cost of installing cables underlines the benefits of a wireless solution. WEAFlex is a Wireless Ethernet Adapter (WEA) supporting Wireless LAN 802.11b/g interface. Powered by the controller (24vDC), WEAFlex converts the Ethernet port to a Wireless port. This enables communication with ToolsNet for data collection, ToolsTalk for remote programming without USB or Serial cables, production systems, or just to exchange information with another controller for a cell job or synchronization.

Energy Efficiency Audit

A huge amount of energy is wasted due to leaks in compressed air systems. Capacity losses of up to 20% are common in many installations. During an Energy Efficiency Audit Atlas Copco checks the static and dynamic pressure for your air tools on the line. The pressure drop is measured and documented and a visual inspection of the air installation is performed. Based on the information acquired, using the Energy Efficiency Calculator, Atlas Copco recommends the correct installation in terms of air line accessories and various other aspects.
