Atlas Copco introduces F range, cost-efficient refrigerant air dryers

May 30, 2016 – Antwerp, Belgium – Atlas Copco is expanding its line of refrigerant dryers with a new solution for those who need quality compressed air without advanced dryer features. The F range, available now worldwide, is the ideal product for customers who needs a standard dryer for applications such as hand-operated tools, general workshops, air motors, pneumatic cylinders and foundry machines.

Atlas Copco’s FD and FX refrigerant dryer ranges have always been highly regarded as premium quality products. However, applications such as hand-operated tools, general workshops, air motors, pneumatic cylinders and foundry machines don’t require the advanced features that the FD and FX offer.

Enter the new Atlas Copco F range of standard refrigerant dryers. With their simple and proven design, quality components and a stable pressure dewpoint as low as 7 °C, the dryers deliver no-frills performance and dependability.
Our industrial dryers have always enjoyed a quality advantage over local competitors and non-brand products, but some of our customers simply don’t need a lot of bells and whistles. The F range is built for them,” said Saurabh Goel, Product and Business Development Manager with Atlas Copco’s Air Treatment Equipment. “Thanks to their design and quality components, F dryers extend the lifetime of pneumatic tools and equipment and eliminate moisture-related breakdowns.

Installation, operation and maintenance of the F range are easy. The dryers are delivered plug-and-play for immediate commissioning. Their vertical compact design allows for placement in confined spaces. A dewpoint indicator lets customers quickly verify air quality. Key components can be easily accessed for scheduled maintenance.

An efficient cooling system keeps energy costs low.  The dryers also offer low maintenance expenses and long service intervals.
