This Autumn and through to Spring 2000 Atlas Copco Electric Tools will focus their main promotion activity on portable drilling tools aimed primarily at the general construction trades. Atlas Copco is particularly well equipped to serve the needs of this user group with innovative tools whether for drilling metal, concrete/stone or wood.

The range of core products in the campaign will all feature the innovative QUIK-LOK cable system, a very fast and safe method of changing a damaged cable.
Hand held drills and Percussion drills with an abundance of features such as high torque planetary gears for drilling large diameters, softgrip for comfortable handling, FIXTEC chuck systems for a super fast change of tooling and single-screw access for carbon brush maintenance.
A new range of small Rotary Fixing Hammers will complete the line-up of highly durable and top performance tools.
In the campaign each model will be supplied in a sturdy ‘site-proof‘ carry case and to underline the benefit of QUIK-LOK, - with a 10m heavy duty rubber cable as standard equipment.
Running parallel to the campaign, Atlas Copco will also launch a new range of SDS plus bits under the sub-brand of dynAC R . A sample of this dynamic new bit will be offered with each PFH Fixing hammer as a free sample test bit.
To create an additional interest with Atlas Copco dealers and customers/potential customers Atlas Copco are running lottery opportunities linked to a pair of Action Gloves that are supplied with each tool. After completing a short questionnaire the participant may win, for example, a trip to a major sporting event or have an opportunity to win other related prizes.
On offer to distribution will be attractive displays and Point of Sale material including a ‘which product best suits the need‘ sales leaflet.
