Oil-free Air Compressors
Oil-free compressors are also used on board in situations where the oil presence in ballast water needs to be avoided, such as ballast water treatment or emptying ballast tanks. In instrument air applications on board of gas tanker cargo systems and in general instrument air applications such as control panels, oil-free air is used to avoid contamination. Oil-free air means less risk of explosions and a safer vessel.More
