Within the newly created Construction Technique Customer Center covering West and Central Africa where the Construction Technique Service business is expected to perform a strong growth, we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious person to develop the parts & service business and the organization for CRS division throughout the region.

Be aware of and follow up within the region the:
- Market trends

Supervision
Assist and supervise the following warehouse functions:
· The off-loading of goods receipted from vehicles and containers
· The unpacking and goods receiving of new goods
· The processing of goods returned from customers for credit or repairs
· The storing of goods accurately in the correct store location
· The picking of goods accurately according to pick lists
· The prompt and efficient attendance to customers collecting goods and cash sales
· The throughput of picked items to the packing area
· The despatch and loading of items to be shipped to customers

Urgent Orders
· Ensure that urgent orders are picked in time and given through for packing and shipping and communicate the urgency thereof.
· Ensure that urgent orders are picked in time and ready for collection or delivery when required.

Safety

· Ensure that the warehouse and/or areas where personnel are required to perform their duties are always safe.
· Ensure that all equipment and/or machinery used by staff is safe and free of any defects that may result in or cause accidents.
· Ensure that staff is aware of all unsafe situations that might be present when performing their duties.
· Identify the need for safety equipment and provide staff with the necessary protective gear.

Training
· Identify all training needs of staff and arrange for the necessary training
· Discuss all training requirements with the Logistics Manager
· Provide staff with on the job training as and when the need arises.

Documentation Flow
· Ensure all receiving documents are captured in BPCS
· Ensure that all pick lists are collected from printer
· Allocate pick list to the material handlers
· Ensure that when goods are collected the necessary documents are completed accurately
· Ensure the correct distribution and allocation of spliced documents after completion

· Ensure that P.O.D’s are filed accurately
· Ensure that when goods are returned for credit the necessary credit documents are completed accurately and efficiently and passed onto the Logistics Manager for processing.
· Ensure that goods supplied on manual documentation are processed through BPCS

Stock Counts
· Conduct regular stock counts / cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of inventory in the warehouse
· Prepare the warehouse for the one official stock count per annum
· Assist and supervise during the official stock count
· Do stock counts as and when required or instructed by the Logistics Manager.

Housekeeping
· Responsible for the tidiness in the warehouse as well as for the areas directly outside the warehouse or all areas used for the unpacking and storing of goods and packing material.

Security
· Ensure that the inventory in the warehouse is always secure
· Ensure that no unauthorised personnel are allowed in the warehouse
· Ensure that all entrances to the warehouse are always secure and/or locked
· Report all anomalies or suspicions to the Logistics Manager

After Hours Standby
· Ensure that someone is always available after hours to attend to customer calls as and when required, in conjunction with the Service Division
· Ensure that all breakdown requirements after normal working hours are met, in conjunction with the Service Division

Exports
· Responsible for loading/off loading and securing of all goods to be exported
· Negotiate and organise transport for goods to be picked up and delivered as per arranged times.
· Arrange correct documentation for exports (Bank forms)

Surplus returns and Scrapping
· Ensure the accuracy of the part no’s and qty’s picked
· Ensure parts are in a saleable condition, no rust or damage
· Returned parts should be well packed and marked with part number
· Packing and rust protection of the parts must be made in such a way that transport damage is avoided.
· Parts identified for scrapping must be removed from the bins and physically scrapped by a reputable waste management company

Distribution
· Ensure that all items are picked, packed and passed onto the courier companies in time for shipment
· Arrange and communicate with couriers on all urgent shipments
· Arrange with courier companies for all export shipments
· Plan driver’s daily routine when required to do emergency collections and or deliveries
· Ensure that the correct packing material is always available for the packing of goods.

Filing
· Ensure that all documents and P.O.D’s are filed correctly and accurately
· Ensure that P.O.D’s are provided or obtained when required.
