New CC 650 CombiCutter with hydraulic rotation device

On the occasion of the Bauma 2010 fair Atlas Copco are introducing the new hydraulic CombiCutter model CC 650 with hydraulic rotation device.

With its service weight of 630 kg the new CC 650 is a perfect match for carriers of the six to twelve tons weight class. „A lot of changes are taking place in this particular excavator class“, Wolfgang Hohn, Product Line Manager Silent Demolition Tools explains. „We recognize a clear trend towards increasingly flexible carrier units which are already furnished in the shops with various systems suitable for different attachments.“

The series hydraulic rotation device allows endless 360º rotation of the attachment and quick and easy positioning of the CombiCutter.

45 tons of crushing force are another argument in favour of the CC 650. „The low weight to high crushing force ratio is important for an economic use. Whenever I can use a smaller cutter and consequently a smaller excavator for a specific job, I can save money in terms of investment and operating cost.“

Ideal for light demolition: CC 650

Another positive feature is the wear part concept: the knives of the cutter can be turned around and can be replaced on the site without major expenditure.

The CC 650 can be used for light-duty demolition work (e.g. in brickwork and slightly armed concrete) and especially for internal reconstruction and gutting work.

The CC 650 replaces the CC 550. Sales start with the Bauma 2010 fair.
