Electronic water drain - level controlled condensate drains for draining condensed water of a compressed air system

Stands for Free Air Delivered, this is the amount of air or flow provided by a compressor. This is expressed as a
volume per unit of time. Common units are l/s, cfm, m 3/min

Full feature - indicates a compressor with a dryer integrated into the compressor enclosure

Lubricated or Oil Injected

Describes a compressor where oil is added to the compressed air in the compression process. The compressed air
therefore contains small quantities of lubricating oil

Metres Cubed per Minute & Metres Cubed per Hour - unit for flow, used to define the flow available from a
compressor

Megawatt hour (MWh)

A measure of electrical energy equal to the power provided by one megawatt in one hour. Mega is the metric prefix for one million. In the report, gigawatt hour (GWh) is also used as a measurement unit. Giga is the prefix for one billion.

Change in cash and cash equivalents excluding currency exchange rate effects.

Interest expense less interest income.

Oil-Free

Describes a compressor where no oil is added to the compressed air in the compression process. The compressed
air therefore contains no lubricating oil

Pressure Dewpoint - A measurement of the dryness of compressed air when under pressure. The dewpoint is
stated in oC, the lower the temperature the dryer the air

Profit margin

Profit before tax as a percentage of revenues.

Pounds Per Square Inch - imperial unit of pressure

Sick-leave

Absence from work due to the employee's own illness, and does not include absence due to child care or care of relatives and next-of-kin. The sick-leave indicator used in the Atlas Copco Group is measured as number of sick-leave days in relation to total number of working days.

Atlas Copco defines the long term sustainability of its business in three dimensions: The consolidation of its Economic performance of adding financial value, its Environmental performance in terms of product and process initiatives to safeguarde the environment, and its Social performance in terms of the social value it adds to its employees and to society.
