Atlas Copco Compressors LLC launched in June a national emergency service hotline that provides customers in the United States with a single, toll-free resource for compressor related emergency service needs.

The Atlas Copco Emergency Service Hotline will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in order to increase service levels and convenience for all domestic customers. The new hotline replaces local toll-free numbers: (877) 2 GET ATLAS COPCO, or 877-243-8285.

“With three-shift manufacturing and facilities operating around the clock, we are aligning our emergency service operations with our customers’ schedules – 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” said Mike Iacino, vice president for compressor service in the USA for Atlas Copco. “This latest upgrade to our unrivalled aftermarket service offering ensures a greater peace of mind for our customers.”

The Atlas Copco Emergency Service Hotline was created primarily to answer after hour emergency service calls. During normal business hours, customer calls to the hotline will be properly routed to the appropriate customer center or employee.

Customer calls to the hotline after hours will be answered by an Atlas Copco agent who will ask the customer to describe their emergency situation. The Atlas Copco agent will work to connect the customer with the appropriate local Atlas Copco support staff within 20 minutes.In non-emergency situations, the customer will be contacted early the next business day by a local Atlas Copco representative.

“The Atlas Copco Emergency Service Hotline has been created in an effort to deliver the highest degree of service to our valued customers and to promote Atlas Copco’s tagline, ‘First in Mind. First in Choice,’” added Iacino.
