Atlas Copco Group Management visits the United Arab Emirates
The President and CEO of Atlas Copco, Mats Rahmström, together with the Group Management Team visited our regional office in Dubai from 10th to 12th September.
Their visit included meeting our longstanding distributors, who were dedicated to working with our company for the last 50 years in the Middle East. The meeting included an interesting discussion with senior economist Dr. Reed Safadi, who spoke about current and future socio-economic trends and policies that are shaping business in the region.
Group Management dedicated time to meet with all the employees in our Dubai office, as well as representatives from our Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Pakistan offices
Newly joined employees also benefited from exclusive time with Group Management where they had the opportunity to ask a variety of questions directly to the CEO and his team.
The Compressor Technique Business Area General Manager presented the renovated Jebel Ali office and workshop to the Group Management where they had the opportunity to see first-hand a demonstration of some service activities (3D mapping / modelling turbo expander) that highlight local competence and collaboration to fulfill oil & gas customers’ expectations.
The Group Management ended their visit in Dubai by meeting with various key customers and in some cases touring their facilities. Featured below are the visits with Alokozay (leading local FMCG organization) and EGA (smelter plant), a tremendous opportunity to understand challenges and opportunities alike, as well as receive valuable feedback on Atlas Copco products and services.
