What is wastewater?
Wastewater is any water that has been used by humans in a variety of ways. The activities that lead to wastewater are domestic, industrial, commercial or agricultural. The two types of wastewater are grey water and black water. 99% of waste water is actual water while the other one per cent are things added to the water by humans.
Wastewater can be treated, and this involves the process of turning the wastewater into reusable water in an environmentally friendly way. We have a range of wastewater treatment solutions here at Atlas Copco, such as air compressors, vacuum pumps and blowers.
