Ivo Maltir appointed President Chicago Pneumatic Tools division

Atlas Copco has appointed Ivo Maltir as President of the Chicago Pneumatic Tools division in the Industrial Technique business area, effective April 1, 2018. He succeeds Philippe Artzet, who is retiring.

Ivo Maltir, a Belgian citizen, joined the Atlas Copco Group in 2004 following the acquisition of Scanrotor NV, when he became General Manager for its Customer Center in Turkey. In 2007, he was appointed General Manager for the Desoutter Application Center in Nantes, France, where he led a restructuring to make it more agile and customer focused. He started his current role as Vice President Desoutter in 2009, responsible for developing the business line.

Ivo Maltir's education includes degrees in industrial engineering and industrial chemistry from universities in Belgium.
