Atlas Copco Ireland are delighted to welcome Chris O'Malley to the team. Chris has taken on a role as Sales & Logistics Coordinator in Compressor Technique. We spoke to him to see how to he is settling in!
Tell us a bit about your background!
I started my logistics career just over 4 years ago in the waste industry. Due to the unforeseen pandemic I then moved to a fast paced Construction company dealing directly with drivers employed by the company. I have always loved logistics and the many different aspects it throws at you on a daily bases. No two days are the same which really keeps you on your feet!

What attracted you to Atlas Copco?
Atlas Copco is a company with endless opportunities. The previous roles I had dealt with logistics within Ireland while my new role consists of logistics all over Europe and beyond. Not only am I gaining a wealth of experience I am really enjoying working here. The people welcomed me within open arms and it doesn’t feel like I have only started with the company.

What excites you about the future of Atlas Copco?
I have never started a company and said 'yeah this is it now!' I am excited to see where I can go within Atlas Copco and the growth I can experience. It is a really positive place to work and I cannot wait to see what the future holds.
