Diversity – The blueprint of engineering success!

In GECIA, diversity is our heritage and the key to own the future. Creating a gender-diverse talent pool and promoting a gender-neutral approach in our recruitment process has enabled us to listen and celebrate different perspectives. With this approach, we have achieved a healthier gender-diverse ratio in the organization. While our workforce comprises 27% female professionals, we are confident that achieving our target is 30% by 2030

The intent of harnessing diversity in every aspect has inspired us to bring in the right talent. And for this, we have been felicitating girl students annually with the “Kruttika Award” for their excellence in academics. Partnering with colleges in Pune and Maharashtra for campus recruitment, at GECIA, we are expanding the horizons of diversity and are planning to recruit students from pan India.

I firmly believe that diversity plays a vital role for organizational growth. It brings a different perspective that helps the organization to innovate and bring new ideas to the table. Create a more positive environment and improve results. I also believe that apart from gender diversity, we also need to have diversity in terms of culture, religion, educational background, domicile to bring more creativity and views in the organization.

Concentrating on having equal representation of varied diversities such as gender, generation, regional diversities, etc., at the GECIA top management, we are proud to have our first female QA Manager in the organization. While we are yet to have a substantial number of women representatives at the leadership level, we have commenced specialized coaching and mentorship programs for talented female professionals by the GECIA management team.

Influencing diversity across!

Interaction in office

We practice what we believe in and influence those who are associated with us too. We propose inculcating a diverse workforce to our progress partners too. Considering 30-35% of our workforce comes from our business partners, we are also persuading them to implement a gender-neutral approach and promote the benefits of a diversified workforce. Every stride taken towards developing a diverse human capital enables us to create creative and dynamic organization.
