Why I think diversity is important:
For me it is simple, why would you ever want to limit your company to only some of the talent in the world. As business becomes more and more competitive, having the most skilled teams is critical to success. If you have a diverse workforce there will be more ideas, more experiences and more competence, which in turn will create better solutions, better customer experiences and longer sustainability. The more diverse a team, the more creative it will be. Creative companies will be the most sustainable companies as competition becomes tougher.
The change I’d like to bring about as part of the diversity and inclusion task force:
As the leader of this company, I would like to lead a company where there are creative, innovative solutions constantly being turned into customer-centric actions by multi-diverse, motivated and inspired teams of people, that share an aligned vision to become and remain the first in choice for all our customers.
