Dry compressed air for painting offshore rigs

Zwijndrecht, the Netherlands – October 23, 2014: Venko Offshore is a Dutch company specialized in offshore painting and metal protection. For these applications they use Atlas Copco Rental TwinAir compressors.

To perform their painting activities, the company uses moveable rigs that are placed next to existing platforms. Recently they worked with two rigs in the Northsea: Seafox 4 and Atlantic Rotterdam. On both these rigs, Venko Offshore uses Atlas Copco Rental TwinAir compressors and CD dryers to produce dry compressed air. Venko Offshore recently signed a contract with a major oil producer to treat 35 platforms in the Northsea. For at least one year, Atlas Copco Rental will certainly provide compressed air, with an estimate of 3 years of operation.

The TwinAir is more silent than other compressors. It also has a small footprint: the TwinAir accommodates two compressors in one container. Moreover the compressed air is of higher quality thanks to the connection of the CD dryer ...
