Christina Ponammpalam

After almost 41 years in Atlas Copco, I still enjoy working with my colleagues around me. Times have changed since I started work and will keep on changing. It might be difficult to adapt, but I would encourage you to persevere and you will succeed. This is a fantastic multinational company to work with and there are lots of opportunities to grow.

A huge part of becoming the best is the people we surround ourselves with. Encircling ourselves with a strong support network of mentors, peers, and advisors is critical to success. Atlas Copco is my first company, and I am so grateful to have first-hand work experience here at a multinational level.

Over the 5 years at Atlas Copco, interacting with various people, including colleagues, customers, and vendors, has significantly improved my communication skills and boosted my confidence. Despite starting with a passive personality, I now find joy in my work, appreciate my team, and am willing to take on new challenges in this profession

Ashiqin Azhar , Marketing Support, Industrial Air

I started back on 2018. As a fresh graduate, it was a new chapter for me to be sales as I have no background in engineering. As a woman in sales, I've encountered several obstacles, but my ambition and determination have always helped me move forward. I encourage woman to believe in themselves and their abilities. Remember, even the small changes have a bigger impact.

As an applications & project engineer, my work mainly relies on executing projects timely for our valued customers. We have a lot of women in many leadership roles. This is something very nice. Since Atlas Copco was founded 151 years ago, there are many opportunities for anyone in this company who is willing to grow in their career.

Nur Syahidah Husain , Applications & Project Engineer, Oil Free Air

Gears, gadgets, and the thrill of innovation – that's my happy place! That's why becoming a branch and service manager in the machinery industry felt like destiny. It lets me combine my techie side with leadership and the satisfaction of seeing real change happen. Plus, knowing my work helps clients and advances the industry keeps me motivated and pushing boundaries.

Meghan Chew , Branch & Service Sales Manager

I found that ultimately if you truly pour your heart into what you believe in, even if it makes you vulnerable — amazing things can and will happen.
