Why choose on-site oxygen generation?

Gain control over your oxygen supply with reliable, on-site oxygen generation!

Start generating your oxygen on-site

Managing oxygen supply can be costly and unpredictable. That’s why businesses are opting for on-site oxygen generators.

Generating your own oxygen (O2) on-site ensures that your business will have an oxygen supply that remains consistent, dependable, and is able to can be generated to your specified purity level - without the added expense of paying for unnecessarily high (over-specified) purity.

How does oxygen generation work?

Our oxygen generators use two proven technologies to produce oxygen on-site:

  1. PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption): Compressed air passes through vessels filled with carbon molecular sieves, which selectively adsorb nitrogen and allow oxygen to pass through.
  2. VPSA (Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption): Combines pressure and vacuum cycles to regenerate the adsorbent material with lower energy use and higher efficiency at larger flow rates.

PSA systems are ideal for small to medium oxygen demands, while VPSA is preferred when oxygen consumption exceeds 100 kg/h or when energy efficiency is a priority.

Key benefits of on-site oxygen generation

Bottled oxygen delivery has its drawbacks, including unreliable deliveries, O₂ wastage, and safety risks that come with gas under high pressure. The same applies to bulk liquid oxygen supply, which involves recurring transport, handling costs, and dependency on external suppliers. With these reasons in mind, more businesses are switching to on-site generation as a reliable, cost-effective, and safer alternative.

Here are some of the benefits to look forward to when switching to on-site oxygen generation:

Increased efficiency

One of the main benefits of using an oxygen generator is increased efficiency. Because an oxygen generator produces oxygen on-site, it eliminates the need for companies to purchase oxygen cylinders or bulk liquid oxygen. This can save time and effort, as companies no longer need to wait for oxygen deliveries. In addition, oxygen generators can produce oxygen at a much faster rate than external supply of liquid or cylinders, which can help to increase efficiency in industries that rely on oxygen.

Improved safety

Using an oxygen generator can also improve safety in various industries. Oxygen cylinders can be dangerous if they are not handled properly. They can leak, explode, or even cause fires. Bulk liquid oxygen can cause frostbite and the quick expansion from liquid to gaseous form, where gas expands 700-800 times potentially causes pressure build-up and explosions. By using an oxygen generator, companies can eliminate these risks of liquid and cylinder-related accidents and injuries. This can help to create a safer work environment for employees.

Cost savings

Another benefit of using an oxygen generator is cost savings. Purchased oxygen by bulk or cylinders can look cheap on the short-term, but will be expensive to purchase and maintain in the long-term . By using an oxygen generator, companies can eliminate the need to purchase cylinders and bulk oxygen, which can result in significant cost savings over time. In addition, because an oxygen generator produces oxygen on-site, companies can avoid these costs.

On-Demand supply

Oxygen generators also provide an on-demand supply of oxygen, which can be particularly beneficial in industries that require a constant supply of oxygen. For example, in the healthcare industry, oxygen is essential for patient care. By using an oxygen generator, hospitals can ensure that they always have a supply of oxygen on hand, which can help improve patient outcomes.

Environmental benefits

Finally, using an oxygen generator can also provide environmental benefits. By producing oxygen on-site, companies not only reduce costs but also cut down on emissions from transportation and logistics. Modern oxygen generators are designed for high energy efficiency, further reducing environmental impact.
