Atlas Copco Rental supplies necessary compressed air during redevelopment of the Esbjerg harbor

Antwerp, Belgium, January 31, 2014: The port of Esbjerg is the largest none container port in Denmark and home of the offshore and energy industry around the North sea. Together with one of the world’s largest oilfield services companies, Atlas Copco Rental is involved in the redevelopment of this harbor.

Dedicated compressor house Part of the redevelopment requires a lot of cement for the construction process. This cement will be carried out on site rather than imported. To transport the cement powder, compressed air with little humidity was needed. Atlas Copco Rental’s customer therefore needed to build a dedicated compressor house in the harbor. Due to long delivery times and power availability, the company needed temporary compressed air. Site scan to determine necessary equipment Service engineers of Atlas Copco Rental went on-site to investigate what equipment was needed for this project. With an XAHS 477 oil-injected air compressor and a CD 550 air dryer for -40 pdp the company had everything it needed for this project, which lasted for approximately 3 months.

Atlas Copco Rental is the only company in Denmark that offers the most reliable and customized rental service for compressed air.
