Ghent, Belgium: KRONOS EUROPE SA/NV., specialized in the production of titanium dioxide pigments (TiO2), was planning to carry out maintenance at their high-voltage cabin. They contacted us for a temporary installation to keep their production up and running during maintenance.
Located in Ghent, KRONOS EUROPE SA/NV produces TiO2, an inorganic compound pigment that whitens loads of everyday products such as paint, toothpaste and even medicines. Furthermore it provides opacity and extra brightness to other colors.
The temporary installation for this application consisted of a PTS 1600 oil-free air compressor with a maximum working pressure of 10,3 barg at a maximum capacity of 45,7 m³/min, with a matching adsorption dryer, a QAS 500 generator with a maximum power of 500 kVA and additional accessories.
