My role sits within the Atlas Copco Compressor Technique Business Area, across the Oil-free Air, Industrial Air, Medical Gas Solutions, and Compressor Technique Service Division in the Customer Center.
I have been in my role for almost one and a half year and I am responsible for the Marketing Communications for the four brands and Compressor technique business area we support in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Along with traditional Marketing and Communications activities, my role has an increasing focus on digital activities.
I am responsible for the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system in my customer center. Each day starts with checking the marketing inbox and the system itself to see if any leads have come in over the weekend. I then qualify and assign the leads out to the sales managers.
I continue to monitor our social media accounts’ insight, and evaluate new digital technologies and uses Web analytics tools, i.e. Adobe Analytics to measure site traffic to better optimize marketing campaigns, email marketing, social media, and display and search advertising.
Another part of my role is to look after the digital marketing campaigns for the business. Usually, on Tuesdays, I launch email-marketing campaigns for the divisions and then monitor results. To do this, I initially create target groups based on the customers we want to reach, come up with a campaign and prepare the content for the email, which is sent to the customers.
Since I also manage the social media channels for the customer center so, I also create and post content related to the campaigns.
Communications is an integral part of my role that sits under our remit. To do this, I am in charge of overseeing all internal and external communications for CT, ensuring its message is consistent and engaging. Today, I had a meeting with one of the renowned Non-governmental organizations for our corporate social responsibility activity and discussing strategies on how to give back to the community in a better way.
I look after the website local content in Pakistan so, bi-weekly, I attend group meetings/training on website updates and online sales lead generation. I gather and create content for the monthly newsletter, i.e. “Discover”, and then work on a design. Once completed, I create a target group of our internal and external audiences for the newsletter launch in our CRM. Through Cloud for Customer, I get an opportunity to monitor the response rate and results and how I can make its readership better in the future.
I am responsible to promote Atlas Copco’s mission, products, and services within our stakeholders and strategize to shape a brand’s image and values, as well as the appropriate methods to communicate them to the customers. I ensure that our business partner uses our brand name as per our guideline and stay up-to-date about standards.

International Women's Day (IWD) has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people.
Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not a country, group or organization specific.
