So, when their own boiler needed an urgent upgrade, a reliable temporary replacement was of the utmost priority.
Clean-in-place: the key to hygienic production
Quality is crucial for food processing
Our customer’s sophisticated and fully automated clean-in-place (CIP) systems are used to clean the interior surfaces of every piece of process piping and equipment that comes into contact with food. From processing vessels and storage tanks to mixers, blenders, homogenizers, and roasters. A dependable source of steam at precise pressure and flow rate is essential for the proper working of these systems without disrupting the actual production process. Which is exactly what our local team provided.
At the customer’s request, we put together a complete, end-to-end solution. The proposed package included our state-of-the-art, fully self-contained RH-250 portable boiler room along with a HX400 heat exchanger. Our expert installation team also took care of the entire logistical operation from assembly to commissioning to perfectly controlled operation.
Our customer was particularly impressed with the seamless transition to the back-up system. Atlas Copco Specialty Rental took care of all the auxiliary fittings to adapt the solution to the specific setup on site. Most importantly, our customer was able to maintain their full production schedule, adding up to a significant return on investment during this turnaround project.
