Atlas Copco Rental Europe invests in high-pressure compressors

Boom, Belgium: Atlas Copco Rental Europe extends its fleet with 20 Atlas Copco Y35 Drillair units. These compact and efficient, high-pressure, diesel-driven screw compressors deliver a pressure of up to 35 bar. The compressor’s design complies with the most stringent European emission standard, Stage IV. With this versatile addition, Atlas Copco Rental Europe takes another step in extending its rental fleet to meet the increased demand for higher pressures and flows at a lower cost.

With the introduction of the newest Y35 units, Atlas Copco Rental Europe upgrades its fleet with a compressor that covers a wide operating pressure range. Thanks to the Extended Pressure Range (XPR) technology, the pressure can be set as anywhere between 15 and 35 bar, making these all-rounders suitable for any heavy duty work such as foundation drilling in hard soil or bedrock.

The latest and cleanest technology

Drillair Y35 for Rental
Fitted with an efficient Stage IV engine, these compressors contribute to the reduction of harmful emissions. Stage IV engines reduce the levels of particulate matter and NOx by 50 to 96% compared to previous models. As an added benefit, they also consume less fuel. To achieve these results, the exhaust after-treatment system requires adding AdBlue® to the fuel: Atlas Copco Rental can support you with both fuel and AdBlue® management to keep your installation up and running.

More applications in the future
