Atlas Copco Rental launches first NORSOK certified 100% oil-free diesel driven compressor

Atlas Copco Rental is the first Rental company in the Norwegian Oil & Gas offshore market with 100% oil-free diesel driven compressor compliant to the NORSOK Z-015 Standards in the rental fleet. The Norwegian petroleum industry has developed the NORSOK standards to ensure adequate safety, value adding and cost effectiveness for petroleum industry developments and operations. With this unique solution, Atlas Copco rental takes up its role as industry leader offering compressed oil-free air as an answer to the needs of the offshore oil and gas industry.
Oil-free air as a standard for offshore applications
Oil-free air is developed for applications where air quality is essential for the end-product and production processes. It is mostly recognized for its crucial role in industrial processes, such as the pharmaceutical or food and beverage industry but also for the offshore (Oil and gas) industry, the advantages are significant. The technology eliminates the risk for oil contamination during the production process without compromising on performance and energy-efficiency.
