What makes the new GA range unique?

  • Atlas Copco’s GA range is designed for reduced energy consumption, high reliability and serviceability. All components are designed for ease of service with the most commonly serviceable parts grouped together for ease of access. The patented portal design enables full access to all components when more extensive maintenance is required. This results in a service time that is half the time of comparable designs.
  • Atlas Copco provides customers with a tip to toe 5-year Warranty Plus program on the complete machine. This ensures smooth operation in the harshest environments for which the GA is built. Examples of these industries include mining, metal plants or the cement industry.
  • The GA 180-315 (VSD+), GA 200-250 VSD Hybrid works together with the new Optimizer 4.0 to optimize an entire compressed air system through selection of the most efficient combination of compressors. With the optimizer you can monitor the performance and energy consumption of each individual machine, as well as the entire compressed air system.
  • The latest generation of our GA compressors stands out on reducing carbon footprint and combine it with increased uptime so everybody wins, the customer and the environment. The further improvements on efficiency contribute to achieve this and the new concept, the hybrid, even brings this to the next level by having the possibility to have the 2 cores able to run individually. This will cut in operational cost and CO2 emission. Besides this the serviceability with the cartridge design vessel and all service parts within reach help to have your compressors serviced in no-time so your uptime is pushed to the maximum.

    Our IE4/IE5 oil cooled motors are coupled with our in-house designed elements to ensure maximum efficiency . Integrated Energy Recovery can recover 78% of energy minimizing your carbon footprint even further. Our variable speed drive cooling fans gives the control to the customer to chose the discharge temperatures to match their application needs and save further energy.

    Our IP66 drive trains make sure our units run trouble free in the harshest of environmental conditions. All electrical motors are placed in the cold compartment adding to the reliability of our oil-injected screw compressors.

    Serviceability

    GA 180-315 VSD+ hybrid
    Service time has been reduced by 50% by designing the components with a strong focus on serviceability. Cartridge type design of our oil separator reduced the service time from 65 minutes to only 10 minutes. Sliding cooler design has been added for ease of access. All the service parts of the oil-injected rotary screw compressor can be accessed directly within stretch of an arm.
