UK sells the 1000th Nitrogen Generator of the year
Atlas Copco Compressors UK sold the 1000th Nitrogen Generator as part of a packaged solution for use in laser cutting onsite at Darchem Engineering Ltd.
Laser cutting requires a reliable supply of high-pressure nitrogen. With its energy efficiency, ease of use and small footprint, the Atlas Copco 300-bar Nitrogen Skid was the ideal solution.
Switching from delivered nitrogen, Atlas Copco nitrogen generation offered a sustainable and cost-efficient alternative to their previous delivered supply. The Nitrogen Skid provides Darchem Engineering Ltd an independent source of nitrogen, when they need it and at the lowest cost to eliminate ordering, transportation and delivery expenses.
Darchem Engineering Ltd can now fill their own cylinders, creating their own bottled nitrogen supply. This serves as their back-up supply, but also adds flexibly catering for their peak requirements an changing / fluctuating demands depending on the work carried out by the fiber laser.
