High volumes of oil-free air to blast water into the atmosphere
Atlas Copco Rental provided four PTS 1600 oil-free compressors, installed across two sections of the movie set. These compressors were chosen for their ability to deliver air at high pressure while maintaining consistent output. With a flow rate of up to 1600 cfm and a wide pressure range of 7 to 135 psig, the PTS 1600 systems ensured high volumes of air were delivered to a compressed air receiver tank.
The result? A powerful water blast effect that met the client’s exact needs. What made the PTS 1600 compressors ideal for this project was their efficient, eco-friendly operation. They are designed to reduce fuel consumption by up to 12%, making them both cost-effective and sustainable. Additionally, the integrated aftercooler provided stable, cool air, while the spillage-free frame and weatherproof canopy ensured smooth operation, even in outdoor conditions.

This engineer played a crucial role in monitoring the system, ensuring no drop in air pressure and that the effect was perfectly timed.
