Atlas Copco Power Technique Welcome Deputy Chief of Staff, Jake Hilkin, to its Facilities

April 19th, 2021 – ROCK HILL, South Carolina – Atlas Copco Power Technique is pleased to welcome Congressman Ralph Norman’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Jake Hilkin, to their facilities. Congressman Norman serves as the U.S. representative for South Carolina’s 5th congressional district since 2017. 

Congressman Norman’s district includes most of the South Carolina side of the Charlotte metropolitan area, along with outer portions of the Upstand and Midlands. Rep. Norman grew up in Rock Hill and is very keep on supporting businesses and programs that will help his constituents.

 

Hilkin will visit the Power Technique facilities to learn more about Atlas Copco’s product manufacturing facilities, relationship within the community, local colleges, and businesses. For the past eight years, Atlas Copco Power Technique has supported the Rock Hill community by bringing more jobs to the Rock Hill and surrounding areas.

Our manufacturing facilities are connected to our offices. Not only do we have jobs available in our offices, but we’re bringing in more opportunities for our Blue-Collar workers in our factory and surrounding facilities. We have been hiring a number of new personnel and expect continued growth of the business.

Meeting these science-based targets will drastically reduce the companies CO2 emissions with the aim of slowing down and preventing the impact of climate change. In its operations, Atlas Copco will focus on operating from solar power, wind, and other renewable technologies. 

We’re constantly innovating to reduce the climate impact of our products and solutions. We are releasing sustainable products that reduce our customers CO2 emissions, like electric-driven air compressors, solar powered light towers, and energy storage systems to help drive our customers to make the change within their businesses as well.
