Our BESS are as versatile as the applications that they cover.
Mobile Energy Storage System Range
Our Energy Storage System Range are mobile plug and play solutions that allow for easy integration into existing setups or can be utilized as a standalone solution. Our new ECOController is an intuitive way to operate the machines and provides valuable insight into your operations through our telematics system Fleetlink. All our Energy Storage Systems consists of high-capacity Lithium-Ion batteries which provide a perfect match for short cycle performance, allowing for an effortless switch between charge and discharge.
Passthrough vs Parallel Operating Modes
All our Energy Storage Systems are equipped with the modes best suited for efficient operation. To pick the right solution for your next job, here is an overview of how the different modes work and what their benefits are:
Paralleling Mode
Paralleling units works through intelligent communication between units enabled by our ECO Controller or other paralleling controllers (DEIF, CAT, and DSE controllers). The paralleling operating mode has near infinite scalability both for energy storage and power. Thanks to the modular and flexible setup, you can add and remove solar power, generators and even integrate the BESS into the grid. The power output for the solution is not limited by the inverters; in order to calculate the maximum system power simply add the max power of each unit. Reliability when working in hybrid mode is a strength of the system. Since all power sources will parallel on a common bus and power is not being passed through the BESS directly, other power sources will take overload responsibility in the case that there is a failure with the BESS.
Passthrough Mode
The passthrough mode of our BESS allows for easy setup and operation, as the BESS simply functions as the power source for the loads. Connect any generator to our Energy Storage Systems and it will work as the brains of any operation, distributing power most efficiently. Our Energy Storage system will synchronize with any external generator or external power source connected to the input and supply additional power from the battery if needed. The hybrid system will always prioritize the load, ensuring that anytime the generator is being ran, it is always running at its most efficient point to either deliver power to the load or rechange the BESS. Unlike the paralleling mode, the maximum power utilized in passthrough mode is limited by the capability of the inverters of the BESS.
