Die grinding is performed with either tungsten carbide, high-speed steel burrs, or mounted points. The choice of burr depends on the size of your job. A larger volume of removed material will require a bigger size burr. Our Atlas Copco die grinders are compact and comfortable for maximum control in cramped spaces. Most models come with a speed governor to increase power and RPMs underload, an impressive power-to-weight ratio, and scatter damping for fewer vibrations. Also, service intervals are extended with our lubrication-free motors.

Turbine Grinder

Atlas Copco Turbine Grinders offer an impressive power to weight ratio – twice the power with half the weight – and are impossible to stall with the right installation. Atlas Copco GTG models are powered by a motor with the latest turbine technology, giving you an extremely high power-to-weight ratio compared to normal vane motors. This means that you can select a lighter, more compact tool without sacrificing the material removal rate. Compared to a vane motor, a turbine motor provides up to 40 percent more efficiency for the same specific job and at the same time reduces the total energy consumption.
