SYS 6000 system control

In harsh production environments, where adhesive systems have to perform around the clock, customers need high-quality systems that are easy to use. The microcontroller-based SYS 6000 from our product line SCA can be used with all common field bus systems. For easy operation, it can be controlled not only via mobile or remote panel, but also through a browser accessible web interface. At the same time, this system control offers a range of features to improve uptime, boost quality and reduce maintenance requirements.

Metering system

For applications like gap filler in battery assembly, the SCA product line offers shot meters with large cross sections for high volumes. A heavy-duty construction for long life cycle, a simplified installation and maintenance, and a precise control with an accuracy of ±1% are some of the many advantages. The ADKE 6000 meter series comes in different versions to support a variety of application requirements such as one or two components, single and tandem configurations as well as cold or heated material delivery.



  • Sizes: 10, 20, 80, 160, 400, 700, 2100 ccm
  • Max. pressure: up to 300 bar
  • Max. material flow: up to 88 ccm/s

Typically used for their fast curing nature, two-component (2C) materials require specialized metering, mixing and dispensing systems. SCA provides fully automated two-component dispensing solutions. To achieve the highest mixing quality, our mixing valves meet special requirements:



  • Suitable for all common static mixers
  • Precise control of switching time and valve position
  • Carbide valve seats 
  • Materials are fed separately to the mixer inlet

Double barrel pump

A reliable and robust material supply increases production uptime and reduces maintenance costs. All SCA pumps are designed for long operational life and minimized stress on the adhesives and sealants they handle. Both single and double barrel pumps are available. Double barrel models enable convenient replacement of material barrels, without disrupting production. The SCA pump control enables high-viscosity adhesive and sealant materials to be used as well as one or two component bonding systems.

The SCA product line offers high-quality material hoses with impermeable internal coatings that are pressure-resistant up to 400 bar. Heated versions provide superior material temperature consistency.

QUISS vision system for gap filler applications

Powertrain and battery joining processes are safety critical applications. Atlas Copco offers an in-line visual quality control system that detects errors in width, continuity and position of the adhesive bead during the application.



  • Reduced quality costs: The QUISS vision system is integrated into the application head and quality issues are detected immediately. Rework or scrap production are minimized. 
  • High productivity levels: The in-line process monitoring system does not require additional cycle time. High image processing frequency allows the highest robot speeds. With the automatic bead repair functionality quality issues can be fixed where they appear. 
  • Easy to use: Teach-in functionalities support machine operators and reduce start-up time. To make the QUISS vision system easy to use, configurable parameters have been programmed in an intuitive manner.
