Atlas Copco Rental North America partners with petrochemical plant providing a support system during annual maintenance outage

Atlas Copco Rental was contacted by one of its past petro-chemical plant customer to assist with an upcoming annual maintenance outage. While preparing for the maintenance outage, the customer’s stationary compressor malfunctioned. A new part was ordered for the compressor, but a delivery date could not be confirmed.
The customer contacted us to assist with not only its maintenance outage, but also this unexpected emergency rental need. Thanks to previous experience with us, they knew that providing a temporary rental air solution for both the emergency rental and the maintenance outage would not be an issue.
Providing a Total Solution
The customer was confident we had the ability to manage this large-scale project with ease.
The last maintenance outage required a total of sixteen PTS1600 compressor packages. Each compressor package included a dryer, a fuel tank, a containment berm, and multiple hoses.
Our on-site technicians managed the compressor operations 24 hours per day. As plant circumstances can often change, our Area Sales Manager, Melissa Reeves, requested that she do a site walk through assessment to ensure that what we would be providing the proper solution to meet the exact needs during this upcoming October outage.
I have been working with this customer since 2014. They contacted me with a request for pricing. We then conducted a site walk through of this project to make sure all of the customer’s needs would be met. It has been a great partnership being able to provide them with the Total Solution in their time of need over the past years. The customer has stated that they feel comfortable with us, knowing we are experts at what we do.
