The integrated hybrid generator consists of a Stage V generator and a battery energy storage system within the same machine. Both machines are tied into the same controller, making the QHS as user friendly as possible.
How does an integrated hybrid generator work?
The ECOController™ automatically uses the most efficient power source available. The generator serves as backup power for the energy storage system and is only used if needed. As the power stored in the batteries gets used, the generator comes in as a backup providing uninterrupted power to the load while the batteries get charged with the surplus power provided by the generator. This helps avoid any low load issues commonly seen in standalone generators and makes sure that the generator always operates at maximum efficiency.
