Atlas Copco Rental introduces the new XATS 900E

Antwerp, Belgium, August 5, 2017: Atlas Copco Rental introduces the new XATS 900E, an electric portable compressor with the versatility to suit a wide range of demanding applications. The new compressor is equipped with a 160kW motor that is highly efficient and quiet in operation.

Up to 50% smaller and 30% lighter than comparable compressors, the new XATS 900E is the ultimate combination of efficiency and portability.

As an energy-efficient alternative to traditional diesel-driven compressors, the XATS 900E delivers compressed air from 7 to 10 bar (100 to 150 psi) with a flow of up to 900cfm (25m3/min).

Offering users the advantage of reduced running costs and reduced requirement for maintenance, the unit is suitable for sites with a ready supply of power. Requiring no additional foundations, the XATS 900E is ready to install on any surface.

Unlike other electric compressors, the portable XATS 900E is ready for use in almost all conditions without the need for additional enclosures. A corrosion-resistant canopy ensures that the unit is protected from the elements, and the power-flex frame is complete with a lifting point and two forklift slots for ease of transportation and site positioning. The unit supports ease of movement, higher safety and protection from spillage.

The electrically powered compressor is enclosed in a silenced acoustic canopy, with sound levels of 73 db(A) at 7 meters. This conforms to ISO9614-2 standards and makes the unit suitable for working in urbanized areas and confined spaces, such as hospitals or schools. The unit comes complete with an inbuilt after cooler, water separator and coalescing filters ensuring that the XATS 900E continually delivers quality air. Additionally, the unit features large door panels for easy access and single side service procedures. Compact, lightweight and easy to move, with outstanding ruggedness and durability, the XATS 900E is an excellent solution for applications that require a temporary supply of efficient, reliable and portable compressed air.
