What participants can expect from Atlas Copco Gas and Process: BOOTH No.: 1635

Atlas Copco Gas and Process will be showcasing compressor, expander and pumps solutions that increase productivity and reliability in numerous processes within carbon capture utilization and storage , hydrogen and CO2 applications.

Visitors to our exhibition booth will see industry applications come to life and have the opportunity to meet experienced team members specializing in the market segments.

This year Gas and Process will be hosting a series of short technical presentations covering topics that include turbo expander and integrally geared technology and engineered aftermarket solutions.

Todd Gibbs

Marketing Manager, North & South America, Atlas Copco Gas and Process

Topic: Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage/ CO2

Integrally geared compressors are idealy suited for capturing CO2 from the source. The ability to manage large volumes, and adapt speeds throughout the compression cycle as the volume reduces, ensure efficiency is maintained throughout the compression cycle.

Louis Mann

Marketing and R&D Manager,Atlas Copco Gas and Process

Topic:  Tuboexpanders in Hydrogen Liquefaction

Turboexpanders have played a vital role in hydrogen liquefaction for decades. With the global shift towards carbon-neutral energy, the significance of upscaling this process grows. This presentation discusses the technical advancements in turboexpanders that support large-scale hydrogen deployment.

Chris Cherry

Application Manager, CPC Pumps International

Topic:  Pumps in Carbon Capture

API 610 pump solutions for Carbon Capture and sCO2 Transport

Bobby Schadenfroh

Business Line Manager Aftermarket, Atlas Copco Gas and Process

Topic:  Today’s machinery optimized to meet tomorrow’s challenges

By modifying or revamping a compressor, process inefficiencies can be reduced. This technical modification can be done to a machine in several ways, such as by changing the impeller size, adding an inlet guide vane (IGV), or the removal of a stage.
