Description
Melt blown filter cartridges
Atlas Copco melt-blown filter elements are widely employed in diverse range of applications due to their effectiveness in depth filtration.
These elements are characterized by a fine fiber matrix which creates a dense and intricate network. This design offers superior particle retention capabilities, ranging from nominal to absolute filtration ratings. The controlled fiber diameter and arrangement contribute to efficient depth filtration, ensuring the removal of particles. The range offers reliable performance, providing tailored solutions to meet specific filtration requirements in non and critical applications within the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors.
All of our products are manufactured in strict adherence to ISO 9001 standards within a controlled environment and fully comply with EU Regulation No. 1935/2004. Furthermore, all materials used are in accordance with FDA Title 21 and meet USP Class VI requirements, providing batch traceability for complete peace of mind.
Nominal depth filters
Melt blown polypropylene filters for non-critical demands
PBP melt blown filter provides efficient filtration for medium-duty and semi-critical applications. It has an extended service life thanks to its outstanding dirt-holding capacity. Its filter media consists of thermally bonded fibers layered on a central high-strength core with increasing fiber density towards the core. Thus, ensuring effective depth filtration, making it suitable for nearly all operation and service conditions. The bonded fibers assure no migration even under pulse conditions.
Its key features are high flow and low-pressure drop, wide chemical compatibility, and thermally bonded matrix that minimizes fiber migration.
It can be used for filtration of chemicals, paint, resins, ink, pre-filtration of potable, cleaning and process water, and for reverse osmosis membrane protection.
Absolute depth filters
High efficiency polypropylene depth filters
PBP-A melt blown filter provides reliable and efficient filtration while having an extended service life thanks to its outstanding dirt-holding capacity. Its filter media consists of thermally bonded fibers layered on a central high-strength core with increasing fiber density towards the core. Thus, ensuring effective depth filtration and making it suitable for nearly all operation and service conditions. The bonded fibers assure no migration even under pulse conditions.
Its key features are high flow and low-pressure drop through increased void volume, wide chemical compatibility, and thermally bonded matrix that minimizes fiber migration.
It can be used for filtration of chemicals, paint, resins, ink, pre-filtration of potable, cleaning and process water, and for reverse osmosis membrane protection.
Nominal depth filters for high flows
High flow polypropylene depth filters
PBP-L melt-blown filter cartridge provides reliable and efficient filtration for high-flow applications while having an extended service life thanks to its outstanding dirt-holding capacity. Its filter media consists of thermally bonded layered fibers with increasing fiber density towards the inner side thus ensuring effective depth filtration. The bonded fibers assure no migration even under pulse conditions.
Its key features are graded density for high dirt-holding capacity, wide chemical compatibility, and high flow and low-pressure drop through increased void volume.
It can be used for filtration of chemicals: paint, resins, ink, filtration of potable, cleaning, process and product water, in solvent trap filtration, and in pre-filtration for reverse osmosis.
