The software landscapes are changing with Industry 4.0 and we need to move with those changes. The customers expect our software to fit well into their software ecosystem.
Your mission in this project will be to map the customer manufacturing software ecosystem and its connections to essential manufacturing hardware. It could range from ERP systems to MES, SCADA, Atlas Copco software, PLC Software & IoT devices. Manufacturing ranges from prototyping to final assembly lines with different software needs to be investigated. Crucial is also to investigate how the customers see their software ecosystem evolve to meet Industry 4.0 and other industry trends. Place Atlas Copco software into the big picture of the ecosystem.
This project will be considered a success when you can present the current state of the software ecosystem, future direction and recommend what Atlas Copco need to do to adapt in short term and long term.
